A British passport holders who live in Thailand when their passports to go to the British Embassy in Bangkok, have to renew their passports and wait approximately ten (10) days expire for editing.
The British Embassy in Thailand is in addition to Wireless Road, Lumpini, Pathumwan, Bangkok, and is accepting applications for the renewal of British passports, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00.
The processing of passport renewals, is strictly at the firstcome-first served "basis. This means that the applications are processed in exactly the order they are received.
New prices for the renewal of a British passport are as follows:
For a 32-page passport will cost 7221 bath. On the other hand, for a 48-page passport, the fee is 8729 baht. For a child's passport fee is 4611 bath.
Procedure
In general, the approach is similar, whether for the renewal, replacement or for an initial
application of a BritishPassport.
Applicants who are sixteen (16) years old or older, must complete the C1.
Embassy officials will not accept the application and it may even be refused if they are not duly completed by the applicant.
The applicant should write his initials on the small box on each side of the C1 application form provided. If the applicant could not write, he must acknowledge a letter from a responsible person, the reason why applicant could not write.
Applicants must havebring the following requirements
- 2 recent 35mm x 45mm photos with light background. (white, gray, or cream will do)
- Completed application form
- Visa fees
- Current passport
When submitting the completed application form C1 and the necessary documents, the relevant passport fee must be paid by the applicant.
The applicant can either renew his passport in person or by mail. When users need in person, he brings the application form, whichSupport the requirements and the fee at the Consular Section of the British Embassy in Bangkok.
If, however, is to renew by mail, the request is a check on the amount of registration fee plus 200 bath or a management fee in cash or money order payable will be accompanied on "British Embassy."
