How to Survive on a shoestring budget in Phuket

     Although Phuket was once a haven for backpackers traveling around the world with only a handful of baht in his pocket, development and a rapid rise in popularity has meant that prices rose dramatically on the island. But that does not mean that it is not possible to live the dream Backpacker in Phuket, so don your flip-flops, and we see how the island without doing a fortune.
     The largest expenditures during a trip to Phuket is usually accommodation. Grell Resortsand expensive hotels around the island emerged in recent years. Spa tourism is also popular in Phuket, but what if you just want a bed to call home? If you are using as a base for a cheap guesthouse in Phuket, you have a few options.
     Phuket Town is a sleepy place and there are several decent meals beds for a few hundred baht per night. Patong is the most popular part of the island and as such, are the most expensive things, but if you look around themselves, it is still possibleSearch for adequate pensions. However, a stay in Patong is not ideal because of the backpacker - the area is full of full of people and street vendors.
     Kata and Karon are very popular with Swedish tourists and there are some major excavations in the area that are not too expensive. The bonus of staying in Kata-Karon is that

     Everyone has to eat - even backpackers. Forget the glitzy restaurants that bites all types of international.You may like a king for less than 200 baht per day to eat, if you select only the delights of Thai Street Food. Noodles and rice are the staple part of the meal, but there are some great treats on offer. It's really just a case of walking around and looking for a street vendor selling the type of food you want.
Be adventurous and experiment a bit. The locals eat like this for a reason. You pay at least 10 times as much in most restaurants on the island.

seems like you have done lot research on phuket tour with tight budget, but it is the most real and pratical post i have seen so far. it explains each and every aspect of tour from food to trasportation rather than just an asvertisment.
